Of course, this little fellow likes coffee, so Jennifer adds a steaming mug using the Coffee Silhouettes die set. Such a fun combination of products!

Inky Paws Challenge #248 Week 4

 

We are in the last days of the current challenge. What will you create? 


Use Cinnamon Red, Soft Pink, Lilac, and Buttercream White with at least 1 NND stamp!

You have until Friday, January 30, 2026 (Midnight, CST) to play along. Each DT member will pick a favorite project to showcase, AND one RANDOM entry will win a $20 store credit to Newton's Nook Design online shop!  The winners will be announced on the NND blog the following Monday.  Make sure you check the challenge rules page before you link up your project. 

Here's some inspiration.  

We are in the final days of the January challenge using these fun colors. This week the IPC team used lots of different layout dies and papers for five very cute, yet different, Valentine's cards!  Yes, the team was definitely in the mood for some "love!"  What are you inspired to create?  We can't wait to see!

Debbie's Valentine's card features Heart Frames, Lovely Hearts, A2 Layout 2, Land Borders, and Love Quarry by Newton's Nook Designs; #inkypaws, #newtonsnook, #cardmaking, #cardchallenge, #valentinescard, #nndpaper, #nndstamps,
Debbie Owens has a delightful Valentine's card that you might really dig!  She uses the A2 Layout 2 die for her layout with petite heart paper from the Lovely Hearts paper pad. She creates her landscape using the Land Borders die set with a trio of heavy equipment from the Love Quarry stamp set. She stamps the punny sentiment on a heart (Heart Frames die set). Super cute!

Kelly's Valentine's card features Christmas Time Dogs, Essential Tags, A2 Card Layout 2, Frames & Flags, Love & Woofs, and Lovely Hearts by Newton's Nook Designs; #inkypaws, #newtonsnook, #cardmaking, #cardchallenge, #valentinescard, #nndpaper, #nndstamps, #puppycards
 Kelly Santi repurposes a puppy from the Christmas Time Dogs stamp and coordinating die set by adding conversation hearts in his paws, which she carefully cut from paper from the Love & Woofs paper pad. She then designs lots of layers using papers from Lovely Hearts and Love & Woofs paper pads and dies from the Essential Tags, A2 Card Layout 2, and Frames & Flags die sets. Such a delightful way to extend one's Christmas stamp sets!

Amy's Valentine's card features Oink, Valentine Word Trio, Fractured Card Layout, Lovely Hearts, and Cheerful Brights Glitter Cardstock Assortment by Newton's Nook Designs; #inkypaws, #newtonsnook, #cardmaking, #cardchallenge, #valentinescard, #nndpaper, #nndstamps, #pigcards
Amy Tollner also repurposes the  Oink stamp and coordinating die set for a Valentine's card. To create her V-Day card, Amy uses the Fractured Card Layout die with heart paper from the Lovely Hearts paper pad. She uses the XOXO die from the Valentine Word Trio die set with pink glitter paper from the Cheerful Brights Glitter Cardstock Assortment. Love the little piglet!

Claire's Valentine's card features Love Cafe', Heart Frames, Card Layout 4, and Love & Meows by Newton's Nook Designs; #inkypaws, #newtonsnook, #cardmaking, #cardchallenge, #valentinescard, #nndpaper, #nndstamps, #coffeelovers, #coffeecards,
Claire Lamb uses the Card Layout 4 die to create her coffee-themed card. She uses heart paper from the Love & Meows paper pad. She places her sentiment on a distressed heart using the  Heart Frames die set. At last, she adds those pretty coffee mugs from the Love Cafe stamp and coordinating die set.  Coffee and Valentine's Day are a perfect combination for a card!

Danni's Valentine's card features Lovely Hearts, Love Cafe', A2 Card Layout, Banner Trio, and Circle Frames by Newton's Nook Designs; #inkypaws, #newtonsnook, #cardmaking, #cardchallenge, #valentinescard, #nndpaper, #nndstamps, #coffeelovers, #coffeecards
Danni Bindel also was inspired by love and coffee!  Yum! For her card, she uses the A2 Card Layout die for her layout with heart paper from the Lovely Hearts paper pad. (Does that paper look familiar?  See Amy's card above!) Danni places her coffee mugs from the Love Cafe stamp set layered circles using the Circle Frames die set. For her sentiment, she creates a banner using the Banner Trio die set. Love all those hearts!

Claire Lamb uses the little heart die (a lot) from the Heart Frames die set to create this rainbow card filled with hearts!  For her sentiment, she uses white embossing on black to make it look fabulous!  The sentiment is from the Thankful Thoughts stamp set. What a wonderful way to utilize your dies!


We're the perfect mix by Debbie features Love Quarry, Land Borders, Slimline Frames & Windows, and Love & Chocolate by Newton's Nook Designs; #inkypaws, #newtonsnook, #chocolate, #cardmaking, #valentinescards
Debbie Owens uses three trucks from the Love Quarry stamp set for this sweet card just perfect for a little boy!  She places her vehicles on little squares made using the Slimline Frames & Windows die set, and those heart filled hills were made using paper from the Love & Chocolate paper pad and the Land Borders die set.  Super fun!

Diane Morales's card will have your taste buds yearning for one of those scrumptious strawberries!  To make this amazing card, she uses the Heart Frames die set for her card base. She adds the pink striped paper from the Love & Chocolate paper pad, and those strawberries are from the Love & Chocolate stamp and die set.  Yum!


Smitten as a kitten by Amy features Newton's Sweetheart, Heart Frames, and Frames Squared by Newton's Nook Designs; #inkypaws, #newtonsnook, #catcards, #cardmaking, #valentinescards
Amy Tollner's card showcases the smitten kittens sharing a bottle of milk from the Newton's Sweetheart stamp and the coordinating die set. She uses the Frames Squared die set to create her red card base, and the Heart Frames die set for her red heart.  She uses the coordinating paper from the Love & Meows paper pad.  So cute!

Debbie Owens uses hearts to show her love of books!  She selects paper from the Coffee House Stories  paper pad and die cuts using the postage-edged die from the Framework die set. She stamps the Heartfelt Meows image on navy and die cuts using the scallop-edged die from the Heart Frames die set. She adds a banner with the sentiment using the Bookmark die set.  Her main attraction is the kitty atop all those books from the All Booked Up stamp set.  A little cup of coffee (Newton Loves Coffee) is snuggled next to the spectacles.

Diane Morales' card is sporting all kinds of newly released products!  Beginning with the A7 Frames & Banners die set, she adds panels with little hearts using the Petite Hearts stencil.  Then she adds a trio of robot-kitties from the Love Bots stamp and coordinating die set.  Anyone else in love with these little bots?!



We're the perfect mix by Sue features Love Quarry and Heart Frames by Newton's Nook Designs; #inkypaws, #valentinescard, #lovecards, #newtonsnook, #cardmaking
Sue T. creatively uses the Heart Frames die set to create her background for her cement truck from the Love Quarry stamp and die set.  She adds black and white diagonally striped Washi tape that works wonderfully for a road!  She adds a bit of sparkly embellishments next to her sentiment, and voilà...a darling Valentine's card!



Happy Valentine's Day by Amy features Love Owl-ways, Slimline Frames & Portholes, Clouds, and Banner Trio by Newton's Nook Designs; #inkypaws, #valentinescards, #lovecards, #cardmaking, #newtonsnook
Amy Tollner creates a vertical slimline card just perfect for the trio of owls flying by with their Valentine's treats! Her pastel clouds were created using the Clouds stencil and die cut using the scallop-edged die from the Slimline Frames & Portholes die set.  Those super sweet owls are from the Love Owl-ways stamp and cut using the coordinating dies.  Using a banner from the Banner Trio die set, Amy stamps the sentiment.  A sweet, colorful way to send Valentine wishes. 


Paws-itive vibes by Claire features Heart Frames, A7 Frames & Banners, Heartfelt Meows, and Meow by Newton's Nook Designs; #inkypaws, #newtonsnook, #catcards, #cardmaking, #valentinescards
Claire Lamb's card will have you purring with all it's cuteness! She uses the Meow stencil to create her pastel background. She then stamps and amazingly colors the kittens from the Heartfelt Meows stamp set which she cuts using the scallop-edged heart die in the Heart Frames die set. She pulls the tiny banner die from the A7 Frames & Banners die set and stamps the sentiment!  Purr-fectly done!
