Marianne pulls festive papers from the Meowy Christmas paper pad for her two cards.  She then pulls the kitty from the Newton's Curious Christmas stamp set in his tangle of lights as well as the kitty from the Newton's Birthday Bash stamp set to feature on each card. Adding a little Santa hat changes the birthday kitty into a Christmas one!  Both cards are absolutely darling!

Inky Paws Challenge #207 Favorites

Danni's FAVE

Kristi wowed us with her monochromatic card.  She used the Halloween Meows paper pad and pulled three different designs in blacks and whites. Don't they look spooky together?  She then uses the retired  Cameo Frame die with a silver embossed sentiment from the retired Creepy Cameos stamp set.  The overall effect is spookily elegant!

Debbie's FAVE

Angy Hughes' repeated use of the Spooky Line stencil at an angle caught Deb's eye.  Such a creative background for her darling kitty in his candy corn costume.  This sweet image is from the newly released Candy Corn Newton stamp set. Such a fun Halloween card!

Amy's FAVE

Angy Hughes is on a roll with her fabulous backgrounds!  Her water colored background in soft autumn colors and subtle leaves (Falling Leaves Stencil) caught Amy's eye.  Paired with the latte-lovin' lady from the Pumpkin Spice Latte stamp set, Angy creates a fabulous shaker autumn card!

Claire's FAVE

Laurie uses the same exact products in Angy's card!  Laurie's card features the softest of pastel colors that are just gorgeous. She uses a dimensional paste with the Falling Leaves stencil, so her leaves have a bit of texture yet remain subtle. She colors her latte lovin' lady from the Pumpkin Latte stamp and coordinating die set in the same soft pastels.  Gorgeous!

Crystal's FAVE

Maria's use of the diagonal stripes in the sketch as curtains was so creative and clever. Enjoying her partially opened curtains is a lovely lady and her duo of cats from the A Cozy Day In stamp set.  Maria then personalizes the book by adding her own title!  So creative and clever!

Amy's FAVE

Redbird uses the rainbow theme by making her firework display super colorful.  Riding through those fiery blooms (Fireworks stencil) is Newton (Newton's 4th of July stamp and coordinating die set) riding bravely on his rocket!  The coordinating envelope is a super fun touch!

Claire's FAVE

Marianne won over Claire with rainbow hearts. Marianne uses the Newton's Heart stamp and coordinating die set and uniquely colors the hearts in colors of the rainbow. Behind them she subtly adds more hearts with the Bokeh Hearts stencil set. Adding the white-embossed sentiment on black adds a nice dramatic touch!  

Crystal's FAVE

Crystal loved how Maria creates a rainbow using the Sunscape stencil. Riding through the kaleidoscope of colors is Newton with his rainbow scarf. This cute guy is from the Newton Scoots By stamp and die set. A fun way to incorporate rainbow colors into one's design!

Debbie's FAVE

Debbie loves how Moments of Crafting created a rainbow of fruity cocktails!.  These colorful drinks were created using the Cocktail Mixer stamp set. The water coloring beneath them was a fabulous way to continue the rainbow theme!

Diane's FAVE

Ingen repeatedly stamped her birthday sentiment (Birthday Roundabout stamp set) in shades of the rainbow. She then adds Newton in his rainbow-colored striped gift bag (Newton's Birthday Bash stamp set) and colorful tissue paper is a purr-fect way to send birthday greetings. Such a fun CAS design!

Teri Kellum is back as Claire's favorite!  Again the coffee-theme with the orange caffeinated cat is too cute!  Teri uses the Newton Loves Coffee stamp and coordinating die set and the Coffee House Stories paper pad to make this delightful card!

Crystal's FAVE

Becky's vibrant colors really caught Crystal's eye!  The fun striped paper and bright rectangles make a  wonderful background for the bunnies from the Bitty Bunnies and the the Hop into Spring stamp set. The little flowers on the bunnies'ears are so cute!

Debbie's FAVE

Dayna A.'s taco cat card won over Deb's belly...um...I mean eye! She uses the little taco image from the Newton Loves Tacos stamp and the flowers from the Cultivates Cacti stamp set to create some custom pattern paper. A brilliant way to use those little stamps in your sets.  Then there's her taco-lovin' kitty from the Newton Loves Tacos stamp and coordinating die set.  So fun and festive!

Diane's FAVE

The CAS style of Dandi93's card stood out to Diane.  On a shimmery lavender card base, she adds four panels complete with birthday elements from the Newton's Christmas Cuddles (retired) stamp set for the row of gifts, the Winston's Birthday stamp set (retired) for the balloon, and the Newton's Birthday Bash stamp set for kitty, sentiment, and party hat. Such a cute card and combination of birthday images!

Kathy K.'s water-lovin' puppies won over Amy's heart!  Her pretty, water-color ocean background is a perfect setting for the little corgis from the Corgi Beach stamp and coordinating die set.  A fun summer take using the Inky Paws sketch!  (Now if summer will only arrive!)

Kristi H. creates a great background using the challenge colors.  The dark gray grass and yellow sunshine create a nice setting for her kitty from the Newton's Birdbath stamp and coordinating die set to enjoy some bird watching!  The heart paper (Love & Meows paper pad) provides a nice romantic touch!

Diane's FAVE

Jennifer K. combines clouds and coffee for this super cute card.  With a bit of fussy cutting, Jennifer adds lots of mugs (Love Cafe stamp set) of caffeinated joy!  The sentiment works wonderfully with the heart paper and hearts on the mugs!  

Amy's FAVE

Christy creates this darling 3D card!  For her card front, Christy uses the Plaid stencil set and cuts an oval using the Oval Frames die set.  Inside, she pulls the gray pawprint paper from the Love & Meows paper pad, and her sweet kitty from the Newton's Valentine stamp and coordinating die set is looking so cute with his big red heart!  She stamps the birthday sentiment on a banner using the Banner Trio die set.

Karen G. uses not one, not two, but all four mice from the Garden Mice stamp and coordinating die set!  Don't they look so cute with their treasures from nature! The sentiment on black adds a nice dramatic touch to this sweetly designed card!

Use the challenge theme--Birthday

Today I'm sharing some more inspiration for our current challenge! 

Diane Morales' birthday card is showcasing the newly released Newton from the Newton Loves Taco stamp and die set and balloons from the Cycling Friends stamp and die set. Set atop a striped background in shades of greens and yellow, Newton is ready for a big fiesta!

Sue T.'s birthday card sports a very big speech bubble (Speech Bubbles die set) with textured confetti  (Confetti stencil). Making all that noise is a darling kitten from the Newton's Birthday Bash stamp and die set in a colorful gift bag!  A few embellishments to balance out the design makes for a delightful birthday card.

Amy Tollner's birthday card is featuring not one, not two, but all three of the puppies from the Puppy Playtime stamp and die set!  She place them on a scallop-edged frame (Slimline Frames & Portholes die set) with three mini settings created using the Slimline Masking Circles & Squaress and Hills & Grass stencil sets. Amy adds several extra birthday elements using the cupcake & flower image from the Bleat stamp and die set, birthday hat on center puppy from the Newton's Birthday Bash stamp and die set, and, lastly, the bone with bow from the Christmas Puppies stamp and die set. Cuteness times 3!

Claire Lamb uses all three of the pretty ladies from the Holding Happiness stamp set.  These ladies are sure to usher in holiday wishes with their birthday gifts!  Don't you love how Claire shades her bouquet of balloons?  Wow!

Debbie Owens was also inspired to use the cats from the newly released Newton Loves Taco stamp set. She places two of them atop her colorful confetti background (Confetti stencil). For more birthday blitz, she adds balloons from the Cycling Friends stamp set and a sprinkling of sequins!  Anyone else ready to party with these felines?
