Inky Paws Challenge #253 Week 4

celebrate friends!

You have until Friday, June 26, 2026 (Midnight, CST) to play along. Each DT member will pick a favorite project to showcase, AND one RANDOM entry will win a $20 store credit to Newton's Nook Design online shop!  The winners will be announced on the NND blog the following Monday.  Make sure you check the challenge rules page before you link up your project.

Kelly Santi's friendship card has a fun patriotic feel! She uses an assortment of papers from the Stars & Stripes paper pack. She then showcases the sweet puppy from the Puppy's Bubble Tea stamps and coordinating die set. To create her design, Kelly uses the Basic Frames die set to create the stitched panel for her sentiment from the Happy 4th clear stamp set. She also uses the Circle Frames die set for her vellum panel. So bright and festive!

Amy's friendship card features Coffee Delights, Heartfelt Coffee, Banner Trio, Coffee House Stories, and Card Layout 7 by Newton's Nook Designs; #inkypaws, #newtonsnook, #cardmakingideas, #cardchallenges, #nndstamps, #nndpapers, #catcards, #coffeelovers, #friendshipcards
Amy Tollner is sending some coffee happiness to her friend. She showcases the Coffee Delights stamp and coordinating die set with papers from the Coffee House Stories paper pad. She pulls a sentiment from the Heartfelt Coffee stamp set and stamps it on a banner using the Banner Trio die set. She opts for the Card Layout 7 die for her great card design. All those kitties in mugs makes one smile!

Danni Bindel is sending a delicious slice of pizza to her friend! She is showcasing the Newton Loves Pizza stamp and coordinating die set with papers from the Black & White Basics paper pad. She used the Frames & Tags die for her layout design. A super cute card to share with a friend!

Debbie Owens feline-filled friendship card features the delightful Heartfelt Meows stamp set die cut using the Heart Frames die set. She pulls 6 coordinating papers from the New Retro paper pack and uses the Card Layout 5 die to create her colorful backdrop. So much furry cuteness!

Danni really liked the embossing on Cat Craig's CAS card. The sheaf of wheat looks fabulous with the little mouse from the retired Autumn Mice stamp set. This is such a great interpretation of the sketch!

Debbie really likes how Meghan K. paper-pieced the cookie jar with the hounds tooth paper. Meghan combines lots of fun papers from the Canine Christmas paper pad and uses the little canine from the Puppy's Cookie Jar stamp set to make this festively fun holiday card!

Kelly loved how Tracie C. made a slimline card using the sketch, and that the tag is a bookmark (Bookmark die)!  How clever!  Tracie also wonderfully colored the sweet image from the Sky High Celebrations stamp and coordinating die set. Those cute critters look great with the papers from the Birthday Party paper pad. She also used the Frames & Tags die set for the sentiment. A darling way to send birthday wishes!

Amy loved Newton with his big red apple! Irene used the retired Newton Dreams New York stamp set to create this wonderful card! He is looking so good on his little tag created using a die from the Frames & Tags die set. Her stamped collage of images makes for a wonderful stripe!  Such a darling CAS card!

In addition, Amy uses the Essentials Tag and the Frames & Flags die sets to complete her card!  Such a darling way to send holiday wishes!

That little pink bow was created using a die from the Gift Builder die set for bow. To complete all her layers, Danni uses the, Fancy Edges and the Frameworks die sets. A wonderful card for a canine-lovin' friend!

Her sentiment is from the Christmas Time Cats stamp set for sentiment. She uses Essentials Tag die set for the tag. A fun mix of elegance and playfulness!

Inky Paws Challenge Week 3

April Challenge!

 Our color challenge continues! 


Use the colors: Dusty Violet, Spring Green, Sunshine Yellow, and Cocoa Brown!

Here's some inspiration.  

This beautiful color combo is perfect for spring cards and more! Create a garden scene, try adding the colors to a birthday card or mix in a pet with brown fur! Let's check out what our Design Team created!


Claire Lamb's card is filled with delightful bubbles!  She uses the feline from the Newton's Bubble Tea stamp set and coordinating die set along with the canine from the Puppy's Bubble Tea and coordinating die set. Both are so adorable drinking their colorful beverages. She adds more texture to her card by using the Bubbly stencil along with the A2 Card Layout 2 die. Such a fun way to use the colors!

Crystal's Easter card uses Easter Postage Sampler, Postage Stamp Layout, Happy Easter, and Bunny Tails by Newton's Nook Designs; #inkypaws, #newtonsnook, #eastercard, #springcard, #bunnycard, #cardmaking, #cardchallenge
Crystal Minkler creates the cutest Easter card by using the Bunny Tails stencil set to create her background of bunnies!  All those lavender tails-too cute!  She then creates three postage stamps by using the Postage Stamp Layout die and cutting them apart. She adds a trio of images from the Easter Postage Sampler stamp and coordinating die set on distressed backgrounds.  Her final touch is the sentiment using the Happy Easter die.  Absolutely adorable!

Danni's spring card uses Frames & Tags, Newton's Rain Boots, and Bright Basics by Newton's Nook Designs; #inkypaws, #newtonsnook, #springcards, #cardmaking, #cardchallenge, #catcards
Danni Bindel uses the kitty from the Newton's Rain Boots stamp and coordinating die set. She uses the Frames & Tags die set to create her layout with papers from the Bright Basics paper pad. Newton looks so cute in his yellow boot!

Debbie's Easter card features Spring Blooms, Easter Postage Sampler, Circle Frames, Spring Roundabout, Frames & Tags, and Daffodils by Newton's Nook Designs; #inkypaws, #newtonsnook, #cardmaking, #cardchallenge, #eastercards, #springcards
Debbie Owens creates the sweetest Easter card using images from the Easter Postage Sampler and the Daffodils stamp sets. She places them on a distressed scalloped circle (Circle Frames die set). The papers from the Spring Blooms paper pad coordinate wonderfully together. Deb then pulls a sentiment from the Spring Roundabout stamp set and stamps it on the banner made using the Frames & Flags die set. Just too cute!

Amy's spring card features Birdhouse Greetings, Trailing Leaves, and A2 Card Layout by Newton's Nook Designs; #inkypaws, #newtonsnook, #springcards, #cardmaking, #cardchallenge
Amy Tollner creates this spring-filled card by using the Trailing Leaves stencil which she die cuts using the A2 Card Layout 2 die to give her card extra texture. She then uses the birdhouse images from the Birdhouse Greetings stamp and coordinating die set. Love her subtle use of yellow, lavender, and brown!
