Debbie loves how Jacinda creates a winter card using the summery colors. Jacinda uses the Fractured Card Layout die. For her panels, she has used the challenge colors with the Snowflake stencil to create a lovely backdrop. In the center, she adds a gang of snowmen from the Frozen Fellowship stamp set. Absolutely delightful!

Inky Paws Challenge #201

 

   Welcome to a new Inky Paws Challenge!


This is a sketch challenge.


Use the above sketch with your NND products. 

Are you ready to get your paws inky with us and play along to win a prize? We will chose a RANDOM entry to win a $20 store credit to our Newton's Nook Design online shop! We will also highlight our favorites from each challenge the following Monday so all entries have a chance to be featured on this blog! 


You have TWO WEEKS to play along - Deadline to enter is Friday, July 7, 2023 at Midnight CST. The winners will be announced on the NND blog the following Monday.

Crystal Minkler creates such a fun spring card filled with spring showers and pretty flowers! Those fun papers are from the Springtime paper pad. She stamps her wonderfully colored puppy from the Rainy Day Doxie stamp set on an oval from the Oval Frames die set. Her sentiment was stamped on a circle cut using the Circle Frames die set. A colorful, fun way to use the challenge sketch!




Debbie Owens uses the sketch in a playful way featuring the kitty from the Newton's Kite stamp set. She uses the Oval Frames die set for her center which she adds the Cloudy Sky stencil as well as the Land Border die set. All those fabulous papers are from the Spring Blooms paper pad. She adds a sentiment form the Birthday Roundabout stamp set to complete her bright, fun card!

Happy Birthday by Diane features Birthday, Oval Frames, Birdhouse Greetings by Newton's Nook Designs; #inkypaws, #newtonsnook, #birthdaycards, #cardchallenge, #cardmaking
Diane Morales designs the cutest birthday card using the Birdhouse Greetings stamp and die set. She pulls several papers from theBirthday paper pad to pull in the colors of her birdhouse. To break everything up, she adds her white oval using a die from the Oval Frames die set.  An adorable birthday card!



Amy Tollner brings us this beautiful, yet playful card. She uses the A7 Frames & Banners die set to create her card base. She pulls papers from the Springtime paper pad. The flowers in the paper coordinate wonderfully with the flowers in the bicycle basket. This sweet image is from the Loads of Blooms stamp and coordinating die set. For the yellow, polka-dotted oval, Amy uses the Oval Frames die set. Such a darling way to send birthday wishes!



Claire Lamb creates such an elegant card using the sky. She uses the Orchids stamp and coordinating die set. She places her beautiful flowers on an ivory oval framed with a golden, scallop-edged oval using the Oval Frames die set. For her background, she uses the Sky Borders die set to create a scalloped stripe. She also uses the Quatrefoil stencil to create a textured layer. The total effect is this gorgeous card!

Claire Lamb's colorful balloon bouquet looks like the perfect ride for the feline and canine to enjoy a spectacular cloudy day.  To make her card, Claire uses the Clouds stencil and the Oval Frames die set for her sky. Those darling critters and balloons are from the Sky High Celebrations stamp and die set. At last, she pulls a sentiment from the Newton's Kite stamp set. 



Drinks, sleep and be merry by Debbie features Slothy Christmas, Meowy Christmas, Christmas Cocktails, Snow Globe Shaker, and Oval Frames by Newton's Nook Designs; #inkypaws, #newtonsnook, #slothcards, #christmascards, #holidaycards, #cardmaking
 Debbie Owens showcases the napping sloth from the Slothy Christmas stamp set.  This adorable stamp set is retiring, so be sure to grab your set before it's too late!  She pairs him with some cocktails from the Christmas Cocktails stamp set.  For her background she uses papers from the Meowy Christmas paper pad and die cuts little snowflakes using the Snow Globe Shaker die set.



Enjoy life one way at a time by Diane features Newton's Perfect Wave, Summertime, and Shark Bite by Newton's Nook Designs; #inkypaws, #newtonsnook, #summercard, #cardmaking, #catcards
Diane Morales sneaks in one last summer card. This card features the daring surfer Newton from the Newton's Perfect Wave stamp and die set. She combines papers from the Summertime paper pad and stamps some little fish from the Shark Bite stamp set for added fun!

Sue T. showcases the Cultivated Cacti stamp and die set with this elegant, yet CAS card.  The Washi tape and embossed oval add lovely texture that pairs nicely with the patterns on the pots!

Dandi93 creates a super clever CAS card by having her sloth from the Slothy Christmas stamp set hanging off the diagonal of the sketch!  She keeps the card simple and clean by stamping the sentiment at the bottom.  This is so cute, Irene!

Melissa showcases the paper from the A Cat's Life paper pad speCATularly!  She adds twine at the corner to make her kitten (Cat Silhouettes die set) look like she is pulling it down!  I know!  So clever, Melissa!

Jane P. creates an amazing card using the vintage pick-up truck from the Farming Fun stamp and die set. She uses a patriotic color scheme that works amazingly with her blue truck.  Don't you love how she stamps the white trucks on blue paper?  Great work, Jane!
