Inky Paws Challenge #99 Reminder

Today I'm sharing some more inspiration 
for our current challenge! 

Here'a a refresher.
Theme Challenge

Create a project using the theme--Rainbow! 

Today I have some more inspiration for this Challenge!

Becky Noelle showcases a perfect spring day!  She begins her background using Cloudy Sky stencil and texture paste.  She creates her grassy hills using the Land Borders die set and dry brushing a darker shade of green distress ink to add some grassy texture.  She uses the scalloped-edge frame from the Frames & Flags dies set.  She adds a sentiment from the Walking Woofs stamp set. For her main attraction she colors the blooms from the Loads of Blooms stamp set in all of the colors of the rainbow!

Bobbi Lemanski completely wows with her bright, bold, and colorful background! She then adds the little girl from Holding Happiness stamp and die set and shades the balloons in all the colors of the rainbow. She adds a sentiment from the Loads of Bloom stamp set.  With a sprinkling of sequins, Bobbi finishes her card!

Debbie Owens splatters all the colors of the rainbow to create the background.  She then adds then strips of paper to mimic a rainbow at the bottom of the card.  She stamps the sentiment and adds the kitty on his pile of books from the Newton's Book Club stamp set. She adds glossy accents to the books and a strip of washi tape to the edge.  

Diane Morales creates her background using a die from the Frames & Flags die set.  She adds a yellow basket with colorful towels in shades of the rainbow and a kitty enjoying a little nap from the Newton Cleans Up stamp and die set.  She adds some colorful hearts from the Speech Bubbles die set to finish off her delightful CAS card!

Sue T.'s collection of speech bubbles in different rainbow colors makes for such a fun design! She uses sentiments from the Thankful Thoughts stamp set and embosses them on bright papers which she die cuts using the Speech Bubbles die set.  She adheres them on a white background die cut using the scalloped-edged die from the Frames & Flags die set.  She adds one of the darling mice from Garden Mice stamp and die set to pull everything together!

Becky Noelle creates this fabulous rainbow card by using the Tropical Leaves stencil set on a kraft card base.  Shen adds a white embossed sentiment from the Simply Sentimental stamp set on black. She splatters some white to finish it off.

Bobbi Lemanski's rainbow background using the Serene Stripes stencil which looks amazing! She then adds this playful puppy from the Delightful Doxies stamp and die set playing with his colorful kite. The bold sentiment from the Birthday Essentials stamp set.

Debbie Owens creates a colorful clowder of cats using the Newton's Block Party stamp set and watercolor pencils. She uses the Frames Squared die set to cut a scalloped edged glittery blue background as well as to cut a square card base. The splattering of sequins and stars adds a nice finishing touch.

Diane Morales creates a wonderful striped background by cutting stripes of polka dotted paper and arranging them in the pattern of a rainbow. She then adds the beautiful flowers from the new Dainty Daisies stamp and die set. She embosses the sentiment in white on a black banner which pulls everything together amazingly!

Sue T. creates her square card base using the Frames Squared die set. She adds a white-scalloped background popped up with dimensional tape. She white embosses the image from the Floral Fringe stamp set and colors it in colors of the rainbow and adds the sentiment on a die cut center.

Inky Paws Challenge #98 Favorites

Our Inky Paws Challenge Inspiration team has chosen a few of their favorite challenge entries from this challenge! If you see your card below, contact us if you'd like to get a "favorite" badge for your blog!

Sue's FAVE

Mary uses lime green and teal for her background using the Plaid stencil set. She pairs these colors up with the delightful toad from the Mistle Toad stamp and die set.  The bright pink berries and sentiment add a nice pop of color to finish this delightful card!

Becky's FAVE

Dandi captures the true spirit of a kitty playing in a new box with her interactive card!  The lime green gingham and twine are the purr-fect colors for the playful kitty from Newton's Antics stamp set to enjoy his new box. Check out Dandi's blog to learn how she got her kitty to move!

Bobbi's FAVE

Kimmie B. combines kraft and bright colors for a fabulously designed birthday card!  She uses several distress oxide inks with the Confetti stencil to create a wonderful background for the llama from the Llama Delivery stamp and die set.  She uses the birthday sentiment from the Newton's Birthday Flutter stamp set.  She uses the signature orange/white twine that comes with all NND orders for her final touch!


Debbie's FAVE

Miss Boo uses reds, light browns, and black to create a wonderful color combination to showcase this sweet puppy from the Pug Hugs stamp set. Who wouldn't want to receive this darling card?

Diane's FAVE

Beverly creates this bright, cheerful card by combining four colors of gingham papers.  For her main attraction, she colors the three chickens from the Cluck stamp set in the same bright colors. Her addition of the trio of bric brac trim finishes her card wonderfully!

Inky Paws Challenge #98 Reminder

for our current challenge!

Sketch Challenge

Create a project using the sketch above. 

Today I have some more inspiration for this Challenge!

Sue T. creates this starry card using the Cosmic Newton stamp set.  Her calico kitty looks fabulous in the glittery and rhinestone-studded spaceship which is flying through a far off galaxy.  Sue creates this silvery universe using the Starfield stencil, sequins, and silver cording.  For the vertical element, Sue uses black and dark gray striped paper.

With this bright, festive card, Becky Noelle gets you ready to party!  She creates a splattered background then adds her vertical element by layering fringed papers  How fun!  She creates a tag using the Fancy Edges Tag die set and adds some brown for the ground and orange ribbon. For her finale, she adds the llama from the Lovable Llamas stamp set. Don't you just love the cool sunglasses?

Bobbi Lemanski's card will have you longing for a retreat at the lake!  Using the canoe image from the Winston's Lake House stamp set, she shades it and the water amazingly. She frames it with a black and white striped paper on atop a blue layer. She chooses a fun background paper that has different colored board planks.  She adds her sentiment and wraps black twine to finish this wonderful card!

With summer just around the corner, Debbie Owens' card is perfect to thank a special teacher. Choosing teacher-themed papers with apples and letters, she creates two layers of the sketch. She then adds a black background with a houndstooth pattern with frames the teacher image from the Classy Teacher stamp set. She adds a glossy accent layer to make the apple shiny. A bit of twine finishes the card.

Diane Morales creates her light blue vertical stripe by using the Sea Borders die set and setting it between a darker blue.  She die cuts a square out of her white layer which pops up using dimensional tape.  She wonderfully colors the mermaid from the Narly Mermaids stamp and die set.  She adds some starfish and a banner with its stamped sentiment. A wonderful watery scene!

Sue T. brings us this fabulous birthday card with the fun plaid layers on which she adds her multicolored layered cake using the Newton Loves Cake stamp and die set.  Her soft coloring of the kitty looks amazing. She adds the sentiment which is definitely how many fell about birthday cake!  Yum!

Becky Noelle created this tropical paradise by adding tropical leaves using the Tropical Leaves stencil. Using the Fancy Edges Tag die set, she cuts a tag from a vellum and white striped paper allowing the leaves to show through.  She adds a white kitty hiding in brightly colored flowers from the Aloha Newton stamp set and a white embossed sentiment on a black banner.  She accents her card with a bit of back twine and black splatters.

Bobbi Lemanski creates this shark-themed interactive card that is sure to fright...um..., I mean delight the birthday recipient! Using a watery-blue background, she adds a black layer as well as a white and black diagonal striped paper layer. She then adds the scary shark from the Shark Bites stamp set and the the smile sentiment from Uplifting Wishes stamp set. Inside her card, she again uses the sketch with her interactive shutter card which reveals yet another scary shark, but from the Shark Frenzy stamp set.  For her sentiment she combines the "Here's To" from the Cocktail Mixer stamp set with a sentiments from the Shark Bites and Shark Frenzy stamp sets.  Be sure to visit Bobbi on her blog to see a video of this amazing card!

Debbie Owens uses soft lavender and blue to create this lovely card. She uses the Bokeh stencil set to create the backdrop. Using the Framework die set, she creates a rectangular border and adheres a vellum center panel. She adds a bit of twine and enameled dots around it.  Using colored pencils,  she uses the sweet mouse from Garden Mice stamp set for the square element of the sketch.

Diane Morales brings back childhood memories with her sweet piglets playing leapfrog!  She creates this darling card by layering a light blue pattern paper on a darker card base.  She then creates the white layer using the Argyle stencil with a square die cut out.  She adds grass accents using the Moo stamp and die set. She embosses the sentiment on a black banner using the Oink stamp set, and for her focal point she colors two of the pig images from the Oink stamp and die set and has them playing leapfrog!

Mary designs this darling card using distress inks to partially create her sky around the playful kitty from the Newton's Peeps stamp and die set.  She adds a layer of grass and fluffy clouds using the Sky Borders die set.  For her final element, Mary stamps a sentiment using the Thankful Thoughts stamp set. 

Sue's FAVE

Cat Craig designs this speCATular birthday card by adding a bubbly layer using the Bokeh stencil set over a yellow plaid base. She then partially stamps the kitty from the Newton's Birthday Balloons stamp set and arranges the sentiment underneath.  She then die cuts using a circle die before adhering to the base. Just so festive!

Becky's FAVE

Kay designs this fabulous shaker card by ink blending  a soft background using the challenge colors and adding the coffee-lovin' kitty from the Newton Loves Coffee stamp and die set in the center. She adds stamped coffee beans, stars, and beads to her shaker. On her white card base, she adds a couple more mugs of coffee, and another kitty (Newton Loves Coffee ) sneaking on on another dose of caffeine!

Bobbi's FAVE

These lemon peonies from the Peony Blooms stamp set colored by Irene look absolutely amazing! She pops this layer with dimension tape onto two teal squares.  Then she adds her bold sentiment on the bottom and right sides. Such a wonderfully designed CAS card! 

Debbie's FAVE

Janet creates this fabulous distressed background with its watermarks resembling distant galaxies. She die cuts a window, so our kitty astronomer from the Cosmic Newton stamp and die set to gaze out of.  Using a die from the Frames & Flags to create the outer scallop-edged frame. Hope this sweet kitty made a wish on the falling star!

Inky Paws Challenge #97 Reminder

Color Challenge

Create a project using the colors white, green, teal, and yellow. . 

Today I have some more inspiration for this Challenge! 

Diane Morales uses the challenge colors using the Hardwood stencil. Then she die cuts using the circles from the Frames Squared die set and pops them up using foam tape. Then she colors the trio of hens from the Cluck stamp and die set. She creates a blue banner and embosses the sentiment in white. Such a bright, fun birthday card!

Sue T.'s card is all about dots and is just so cute!  She creates the large dots using the Bokeh stencil set in the challenge colors. She adds her kitty floating on his raft from the Newton's Summer Vacation stamp and die set. She adds a wavy layer using Sea Borders die set. She adds some big clouds with sentiments and some dotted washi tape for her final touch!

Becky Noelle creates this box card that is just full of spring cuteness!  She used the Loads of Blooms stamp set and colors the little girl in the challenge colors. She adds lots of puddles using the Spring Showers stamp set. All those raindrops and the sentiment from the Newton's Rainy Day stamp set look fabulous falling down! She repurposed the Peppermint die to make the sun. For her grass she used the Land Borders die set. 

Just in time to celebrate teachers, Bobbi Lemanski makes this fun and delightful card! She used the challenge colors to make a dotted background using the Bubbly stencil.  She adds some stitched lines and adds the sentiment. Then for her focal point, she stamps a teacher image from the Classy Teachers stamp and die set. She creates an old-fashioned chalkboard and embosses the sentiment in white. This is going to make a teacher very happy!

Debbie Owens creates this festive scene by using distress inks and the Sky Borders die set to create those fluffy clouds. She then creates the hills and grass using the Land Borders die set. She adds the white picket fence using the Fence die.  She colors the kitty from Newton's Birthday Balloons stamp set and adds a bow tie from the Pug Hugs stamp set.
