Inky Paws Challenge #7 - Go Green!

Happy Friday and the the first day of #07 Inky Paws Challenge!  This month's challenge is Go Green!

With upcoming spring weather (I hope) and St. Patricks day just around the corner I thought this green ombre cake image would be fun inspiration! You can use any shade of green on your card (other colors are ok as long as Green is the primary color) and any Newton's Nook Designs Stamps! 

Are you ready to get your paws inky with us and play along to win a prize? The Challenge winner will receive a $10 store credit to our online store and a Inky Paws Challenge Top Pick Badge to add to your blog! If we get more than 15 participants, we will choose two winners so be sure to tell your friends to play along! 

You have two weeks to play along. Deadline to enter is Friday,  March 14th, 2014 at Midnight CST. The winner will be announced on the NND blog on Monday, March 17th.

I love the green watercolor background on this card by our Guest Designer, Debbie Owens! She used our new stamp set, Winston's Birthday!

Our Guest Designer, Chrissie Tobas also did a watercolor background on her card featuring Newton's Birthday Bash! I love how this turned out too!  

 Design Team Member Danielle used our Dino Set, Prehistoric Pals to create this fun green scene! 

 This cute kitty card by Samantha Mann makes me smile! I love the sentiment she created to go with the kitty from Newton's Antics! Plus the green box is adorable!

Larissa Heskett is so good at combining stamps from different sets! She use the owl from Sweetheart Tails, the Branch and birdcage from Tweet Talk and the "hey there" from Love à la Carte!

For this fun "green" card Design Team Member Tessa Wise used the fun dragon from our Magical Dreams stamp set! I love the little bits of colored tape too! 

This fun card is by Design Team Member Christine Drogt. Christine used the bear from our Halloween set, Boo Crew and made it into a get well card! Such a fun idea!

Here's one from me :) I used some fun arrow washi tape and gave the kitty from Newton's Birthday Bash a stack of paper pierced green gifts! 

Another one by me - I couldn't resist using the newly- named Winston! I used the Winston's Birthday Stamp set to create this fun green scene!

Inky Paws #06 Challenge - WINNERS! 

We had so much fun checking out all the entries for our sixth Inky Paws Challenge at here at the Newton's Nook Designs blog! This time we switched things up and did a COLOR challenge - and all our participants really did a great job with it! As always- it's hard to pick a winner! Thanks to everyone who played along! Our second winner is Jess with this fun card featuring the bear from our Campfire Tails set!  We loved the bright colored sky and scene that she created! So pretty!  Jess actually made another card with a night scene too- We thought this card fit the color challenge better but loved both. This card by Tanja is so cute! Love the coloring on the kitty and the dot pattern. Plus, the woodgrain frame is so fun! Tanja used our  our Newton's Antics set!

We loved the fun layout on this card with the folded paper corner by Barbara! What a great idea for double-sided papers! Barbara used our Love à la Carte Set. 

This bright and colorful, Warhol inspired card by Jen also caught our eye! I love the simple, bright composition!  Jen used the cheese grater from our Just Say Cheese set.

 Taheerah Atchia used the Newton's Antics stamp set to create this adorable tag!
Isn't it neat how she created balls of yarn in the key colors? And she snuck in the little heart thought bubble from the Just Say Cheese set too!  

Larissa Heskett  the used the cupcake from our Love à la Carte stamp set stamp set to create pops of color against a gray background! I love how the colors pop! She also used the "hello" sentiment from the Winged Wishes stamp set! 

Tessa Wise the used the sugar stamp from our Love à la Carte stamp set stamp on this fun card! Isn't the bright teal and pink combo so pretty?

What a cute scene with Newton created by Danielle Pandeline! She used 3 different sets - the Kitty from Newton's Holiday Mischief, the squirrel from Sweetheart Tails and the "hello" sentiment from Winged Wishes! So fun!  Love the polka dots on his belly!'

And a card from me :) I used the snuggling kitties from the  Newton's Antics stamp set and watercolored them to bring in the yellow. Then I used patterned papers and a green card base to bring in the other colors!

This card by Elena is our first winner this month! This card made me smile right away- She used our Prehistoric Pals set to create a really fun christmas scene! She added a santa hat on the dinosaur and a bow on the palm tree - and look, the dino is on his way to adding on a christmas light! Such a cute idea! 

Our second winner is Donna with this fun Mitten Card.  Donna used the free digital mitten stamp from our freebies page here. We thought it was really cool how she separated the mitten from the sentiment on her card. Also, we liked her clean white layout with pops of red and teal! So cute!

Design Team Member Samantha Mann took the cute puppy from the Canine Christmas stamp set and made it look like he's a gift tag on a present! What a creative way to use the sketch!

Here's one from me - I used the Puppy and Wreath from the Canine Christmas set and added some burlap and twine to make this "Howl-idays" card.

And one last one from me - for this card I watercolored the Octopus from SEAson's Greetings and added him on with some blue and pink patterned papers!

Today is Winner Day! 

We had so much fun checking out all the entries for our Fourth Inky Paws Challenge at here at the Newton's Nook Designs blog. I have to say, this was a tough one. We had so many entries this time! I want all of you who entered to know I get excited every time I receive an e-mail that someone has uploaded a new entry! Even if I'm not at home to check it out and comment right away, it always makes me happy to know someone is creating with our stamps!

Since we had over 15 participants we got to pick TWO winners - it was very hard to choose between all the amazing entries but here's what we decided! 

This card by Indy is our first winner this month! She really made that sketch look amazing! Indy submitted a couple of cards but what stood out on this card was was how she created a cute little scene in the circle using Newton's Holiday Mischief! The sparkly tree is so pretty & we loved her color palette of blue and silver!  

Our second winner is Larissa Heskett with this fun wagon card.  We loved how she combined the Wagon of Wishes set with the words from the Holiday Wishes set.  Plus, it's so cute how she added sparkle to those gifts in the wagon and switched up the wagon handle so it's sitting up instead of lying down!
