We're starting our September Challenge a bit early!
We couldn't wait to get an early start on our Fall and/or Halloween cards!
You have until Friday, September 25, 2026 (Midnight, CST) to play along. Each DT member will pick a favorite project to showcase, AND one RANDOM entry will win a $20 store credit to Newton's Nook Design online shop! The winners will be announced on the NND blog the following Monday. Make sure you check the challenge rules page before you link up your project.
Here's some inspiration: We couldn't decide between fall and Halloween so we're choosing BOTH! Create a card with a fall and/or Halloween theme to join. Create a thank you using fall images and colors. Try creating a cute (or spooky) Halloween scene. This time of year is filled with frights and delights! Choose your favorite and enter today!
Debbie Owens kicks off the Falloween challenge with a mini-Halloween card measuring just 2 1/2 x 3 1/2 inches! She uses a die from the Basic Frames die set to create the mini base. She adds the spooky paper from the Halloween Time paper pad. She adds a moon using the Spooky Sky die set with a witchy-puppy from the Trick or Treat Puppy stamp set. She adds her sentiment (Halloween Postage stamps set) on a banner (Frames & Flags die set). Small but sweet!
Kelly Santi is showcasing the very spooky feline from the Batty Newton stamp and coordinating die set. She created an easy background by selecting this spooky paper from the Halloween Time paper pad. To create her layers and little tag, Kelly uses dies from the Basic Frames and the Frames & Tags die sets. Such a fabulous card!
Amy Tollner combines Halloween with a trio of coffee mugs from the Spooky Coffees stamp and coordinating die set. Amy uses paper from the Halloween Time paper pad with dies from the Card Layout 6 and the Corner Flip die sets. Her empossed sentiment is on a fun banner from the A7 Frames & Banners die for the sentiment. Spookily delicious!
Claire Lamb is showcasing a black cat using the Cat Silhouettes die set. For her sky, she uses the Spooky Sky die set and distresses the scene amazingly! She pulls letters from the Valentine Word Trio die set to spell "BOO." She also used the Oval Frames die set and the Petite Snow stencil. Wowza!
Danni Bindel opts to make an autumn card filled with so many fall images from the Autumn Postage Sampler stamp and coordinating die set. She pulls paper from the Autumn paper pad with the Postage Stamp Layout die. Just love all the orange in Danni's card!
Don't forget you have until Friday, September 25, 2026.
