Inky Paws Challenge #124

This biweekly challenge is a:

Create a project using the theme: Floral

Are you ready to get your paws inky with us and play along to win a prize? We will chose a RANDOM entry to win a $20 store credit to our Newton's Nook Design online shop! We will also highlight our favorites from each challenge the following Monday so all entries have a chance to be featured on this blog! 

You have TWO WEEKS to play along - Deadline to enter is Friday, June 5, 2020 at Midnight CST. The winners will be announced on the NND blog the following Monday.

Hope your day is as special as  you are by Becky features Dainty Daisies and Frames & Flags by Newton's Nook Designs; #newtonsnook
If you love daisies, then Becky Noelle's card will delight your heart!  Becky stamps and carefully fussy cuts several bouquets of daisies from the Dainty Daisies stamp set. She adds them to a wood grain card base. For a touch of elegance she adds half a doily which she adheres with black zigzag stitching. Her white embossed sentiment on the black banner die cut using a die from the Frames & Flags die set adds a nice dramatic touch.


It's a good day to have a good day by Crystal features Easter Lily and Woodland Picnic by Newton's Nook Designs; #newtonsnook
With the vibrant fuchsia and orange color scheme, Crystal Komara's card is sure to make someone's day good!  She adds the colorful flowers from the Easter Lily stamp and die set on top of a stenciled background and adds her sentiment from the Woodland Picnic stamp set on the top banner. A dark fuchsia ribbons ties it all together for a stunning card!

Let your dreams blossom by Debbie features Dainty Daisies and Gingham by Newton's Nook Designs; #newtonsnook
Debbie Owens combines the warmth of black and white gingham with the charm of orange daisies. Using the Gingham stencil, she partially distresses the bottom third of her card in black. She then pops her orange daisies from the Dainty Daisies stamp set with foam tape and adds a jute bow.  Stamping the sentiment in black and adding some enameled black dots balances out her sweet, CAS card.


Hello by Diane features Lovely Blooms and Newton's BIrdhouse by Newton's Nook Designs; #newtonsnook
Diane Morales lovely card begins with dark fuchsia flower blooms stamped repeatedly atop a fuchsia card stock. She adds a trio of the same flowers from the Lovely Blooms stamp and die set atop a white center panel with several leafy stems alternating between. She embosses the sentiment from the Newton's Birdhouse stamp set in white which really pops against the fuchsia!  A darling way to say hello!

Friends are flowers in the garden of life by Sue features Garden Mice and Blooming Botanicals by Newton's Nook Designs; #newtonsnook
Sue T. creates a floral paradise for here darling mouse to enjoy!  Using the Blooming Botanicals stamp set, she colors her blooms in shades of oranges and yellows. She then adds her sweet visitor from the Garden Mice stamp and die set with it's orange daisy. For her sentiment, she uses the circular dies from the Frames Squared die set and stamps the perfect friendship sentiment on it.
